As I'm getting deeper into my BIG QUESTION I still don't understand why people are making these drastic changes to themselves and why do they feel more better, even their not truly themselves. But is being yourself so horrible that you have to go to extreme measures just to change who you are and never become that same person ever again. I for one think that being yourself is amazing because you don't have to rely on anyone to tell you how to dress or act, I love who I'am and no one on this planet can ever change me, but if you really love yourself you shouldn't have to deal with people trying to change you, ALWAYS ALWAYS LOVE WHO YOU ARE AND BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF.๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐✨๐๐ ✴^0^^0^^0^^0^^_^^_^^()^

BIG QUESTION PT5
When we want to change, we change for ourselves not by other people, but some people do change themselves by others because change is always constant and people feel like their no good for this amazing life that they have and are letting other people control and manipulate them into becoming something that their not, are people that desperate to fit in?
BIG QUESTION PT4
As my BIG QUESTION is continuing I still wonder why people change themselves. Do they have this sudden urge to not be themselves anymore and just follow the crowd because being themselves is that bad they don't want to show their true colors and let it shine through and express themselves the way they want to.
BIG QUESTION pt3
As I'm investigating further about my BIG QUESTION I have noticed that when people change who they are, they just want to blend in the crowd and not be an outcast well it's good to blend in every now in then but what really bothers me is ''WHY DO THEY DO IT'', being themselves that bad they have to change just to follow the crowd. I wonder what's going in their mind when they make these drastic changes to themselves.

Big Question pt 2
why my BIG QUESTION is IMPORTANT because it affects our society and because I've seen people being change by other peers and to me its really sad because they were once happy, but know they are crying on the inside because they couldn't do nothing to stop it from happening and they put this act of ''whatever, like they don't care anymore'' because on the inside they are sobbing knowing they could have prevented this from happening.

MY BIG QUESTION!!!!
My topic is about my BIG QUESTION which is ''WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE
BEING CHANGED BY THEIR PEERS''? This topic interests me because this is a true statement and I've seen people change by their peers and never go back to how they used to be.
The steps I've taken to explore this further is the first, why do they want to change
who they are and why do they do so.
The second step is there a reason why they want to do it. The third step is are they
happier they changed, (change is good, but when it comes to someone who is changing you or someone else) or are they depressed on the inside knowing they could have prevented this drastic change from happening, or do they don't care anymore.
My plan is to find out why these dramatics changes are happening to our society from now to June 2018.

Immigrants in our own land pt2
The theme for ''Immigrants in our own land'' is that it's trying to tell a story about what he thinks and feels. It's also a way for him to describe the life he's living in.

The poem of immigrants in our own land by Jimmy Santiago Baca is that I thought the mood was pessimistic and a bit dark, the same for the tone also a bit dark and moody.

Emerson Essay
In Self-Reliance written by Emerson talks about title and thesis, what that means is
the title says ''self-reliance'' and that means is to have self confidence because it's important to have confidence in yourself. The thesis also means an argument to what Emerson is trying to tell you.
Emerson's main idea was supported by tone because the author explains his emotions
in the essay, he does this by telling us how he said this on his first stanza on the poem of the beginning '' he says man is his own star, and that can render an honest and perfect man,'' which means that a man has his own star and is honest to be a perfect man.
The diction is another supporting detail because he uses that to describe his feelings for example, he uses '' To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men-- that is genius''.
The syntax is another supporting detail because the author puts the sentence together ''To believe your own thought, is to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men--that is genius, because he's describing his life and other people's opinions whether their wrong or right. I agree with him, because he says things that are true and are related to everyone's life.
A quote that Emerson uses is that ''being yourself is the greatest thing you could do to
yourself because being who you are is the most important thing you could do''. That quote is so true because were living in a world where being yourself isn't good enough for other people and you change who you are just so people can like you. I love who I am and I don't need anyone's opinion to not be myself, because being yourself is the greatest thing you could do, all you have to do is be happy with yourself.
Emerson ideas can help me in my own life because I can express myself the way I want to
and I don't have to rely on anyone to change my ways, because if someone tells me to change my ways, then their the ones who need to change.

Vignette
When I was 13 years old I went to Colorado with my mom. The reason we went over there is because I found out that my cousin ( who I have not seen for 8 years) was going to get married. I was really happy because of two things: the first one was I always wanted to see Colorado and how it is over there, and the other is I finally got to see my cousin who I haven't seen for so long.

Emerson for the young buck
What I learned in On Self-Reliance is to be yourself and try not to imitate other people because that makes you a copycat and be open minded and not being afraid of judging because your giving an honest opinion. I would explain On Self-Reliance to any ten year old by telling them to be true to themselves and follow their passion and focus on the beauty of life and not to let anybody drag them down because of other peoples opinions and be happy for who they are and not letting people change them.
Author in Progress
1. On the Emerson writing, I did well in writing what needed to be written. I need to work on organizing my paragraphs and explaining myself more, that way someone reading it doesn't get confused.

Literature Analysis Answers
1 The plot of the novel in Emerson's (also known as on self reliance) is that the author talks about how Emerson's says ''that being yourself is the greatest thing you could do to yourself because being who you are is the most important thing you could do and the author made the essay an inspirational and motivational essay, even though some words or sentences don't make sense but he said what he needed to say that way the reader could have an idea to try an figure out what it means by asking questions.
2 The theme of the novel is that Emerson is speaking the truth about life and people around him and it also has lots of essays and are all put in to one novel to tell the reader about how they feel about themselves and the world there living in.
3 The authors morning routine would be getting up early and having tea because he hates coffee because it destroys his incredible mind. He also does meditation. He doesn't do hangover because its just like coffee destroying his incredible mind. For breakfast he would eat pancakes with scrambled eggs, sausage link, and some French toast and also with some orange juice.
4 The five literary techniques that strengthen my understanding. The first one was Emerson saying being true to yourself and never letting people change who you are and being your very best. The second one is to have the tool to understand things you have no idea what they mean or very hard to understand. The third one is to be mindful and not being afraid to judge because your giving an opinion that wont hurt the other persons feelings. The fourth one is to recognize your mistakes and able to process the situation and move on. Lastly is to live in a world where your not hurt but its also good because when someone hurts you, you get right back up again only stronger than you were ever before. It helped me gain insight because Emerson speaks the truth even though you can't understand some of the sentences it still makes sense that he's right about the world and everyone around us and how they are.

something cool 2 know
In my second two last post that I posted on The Art of Hosting a Good Conversation Online in the last sentence I said '' you will always bloom like a flower and being your own kind of BEAUTIFUL'' I said ''bloom like a flower'' because at first I was going to put shine bright like a diamond ( quoting Rihanna from her song shine bright like a diamond) but I didn't because, well to me when I see a diamond I see a rock that's been transformed into a beautiful and exquisite jewel. But see that's the thing diamonds are the same all the time, sure they may have different colors and shapes and sizes but it's still a diamond no matter what different textures or color it has, it's still a diamond and then there's flowers. Flowers are different than diamonds, first of all there way cheaper (sometimes) but flowers have these things that diamonds don't, because flowers have different textures, smells, heights, and colors and that's what makes flowers unique and that's why I put ''BLOOM LIKE A FLOWER''.

About my book
what I like about my book ''Artemis Fowl'' by Eoin Colfer is that it will grab your interest no matter what your age is and once you read the first page you don't want to put it down you'll be hooked, I know I will.

The Art of Hosting a Good Conversation Online
Why are people so desperate of becoming someone else in social media or reality and why are they trying so hard to do so? I find it really depressing because they think that being yourself and being who you truly are is overrated because they're desperately trying to fit in and have everybody like you all the time. You don't have to change who you are just because people tell you to. If people tell me to change who I'am by today or next week, I would tell them ''What gives you the right to tell me to change my ways and how I should act'' and just walk away being happy that what no matter people tell you, you will always bloom like a flower and being your own kind of BEAUTIFUL.๐๐๐๐๐

is this the time to stick to our guns
In the story time to stick to our guns it does effect our lives because it does relate to the tragedy of the Las Vegas shooting incident because even though we didn't know the innocent people that lost there lives that day but it still effects us there, so the story relates to the shooting incident and even though we didn't know the people that lost there lives that day our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully that everyone will learn to change there horrible ways and not cause so many lives to be taken away because of the dumb people we have in this world.

letter to a mentor
Dear Mentor,
I have always looked up to you because you inspire me in so many ways. First of all you make everything possible for something that's impossible to accomplish because I wouldn't be able to accomplish my most amazing masterpieces because I had no faith in myself whatsoever, but you had faith in me even though I didn't and I thank you for that. If it wasn't for you I would have not been able to draw amazing like I do now and come up with outrageous masterpieces. I'm grateful that I have you in my life and as a mentor and helping me see the beauty in myself , my ART and everyone who cares deeply about me. Thank you so much, I will always be thankful for what you've taught me.

4 states of success
In the 4 states of success I would want to be in the success of being happy because yes sometimes life can bring you down but it also can bring right back up again because being happy is great but not to happy because you don't want to go crazy or something like that. I would accomplish that goal by staying true to myself and never giving up hope no matter what life or anybody throws your way, it can be done by always having the faith and believing in yourself that you can and you will. Because we all have the will to live in order to create something beautiful and find every possible way to make it happen and come true so it could be reality.

Prompt 1
The theme of the short story about ''Young Goodman Brown'' is that sometimes a decision that you make will affect your life because what you do or say can affect what you do in the future. For example in Young Goodman Brown, Young Goodman Brown left his wife (Faith) because he had to go to the woods alone and accomplish his destiny. While he's at the woods a mysterious man appears out of nowhere and tells him that he must go with him to the great unknown. As the story goes on the diction of the story is described as how the author describes Young Goodman as a dynamic character because he felt the need to leave his faith and his life behind and also the syntax explains how he described Young Goodman Brown as the guy that is a intransigent because he is unwilling and refuse to change his ways. Some of the quotes the author used to describe the story and Young Goodman Brown is in the story he says '' With this excellent solve for the future Goodman Brown felt himself justified in making more haste on his present evil purpose.'' The explains this because he describes Goodman Brown as a present for an evil purpose and what this means is that he believes that Goodman Brown taking a dreary road and darkened by all the gloomiest trees in the forest says the author.

6. The staff represents the figment of evil, the staff leads Brown's to his conscience of his mind because he just wants to find out what is happening to him and why.
7. If Brown had not ventured into the forest his life would be different because he would actually be with his faith. Brown would still have his faith because both of them would live a life were neither one would leave each other.
